We feel excited here to report on this years' GCSE results, as this is the first year when the traditional GCSE grades A* to G are being phased out and replaced by a numbered grade scale from 9 to 1. Some students achieved satisfying results while some grades may be disappointing
Sixth Formers at Queenswood are celebrating another extremely impressive set of A-level and Pre-U results, with 77% A*-B across 25 subjects. One third of its girls taking the exam gained at least 3 A*/A grades, while 100% of results in Modern Languages and History were A*-B, and all candidates in Further Maths gained an A*.
These excellent results have allowed its students secure places on a highly prestigious range of undergraduate courses, including History and Italian at Oxford, Pharmacy at University College London, Law at Durham University, Civil Engineering at Imperial College London, and Art History at St Andrews.
Through the PSHE programme, all girls in Years 7-11 receive talks from outside speakers on topics including drugs, alcohol, personal safety, Internet safety, sex and relationships and drink driving.
The 2017 China Summit of the Association of Leading Independent Schools is to be held in Beijing and Shanghai on Sept. 15 and Sept. 17 respectively.
