Student Info

Name: Kyle

ACT: 35

SATII: 2380

Offers: University of Chicago (ED), Northeastern Honours Program with Scholarship (EA)

Kyle is a big fan of Pacman. He achieves high scores nearly at each level. Unlike young adolescents who just can't control themselves on the game hours, Kyle plays the game not just for fun, he also actively thinks about the patterns and rules of the game. Based on his unique thinking, he submitted an UChicago supplement essay where he discussed the basics of mathematical bases through level 256 of Pacman. It really impressed the admission officer.

Another highlight of Kyle is his impressive list of activities which showed his commitment to a varying range of issues from school sports teams to being a medical volunteer. He is Undersecretary General and Chief of Technology of Model UN; President of Technology Hub; Student Council representative; Medical volunteer Leader and Initiator of peace project; Co-Founder and Vice President of A-capella Club; Captain of varsity cross country team; Captain of varity swim team; Co-Founder and Leader of gym hockey club; President of National Honour Society.

While Kyle's rich extracurriculars make him stand out, it also brings the biggest challenge: Selecting the most appropriate colleges for his skills and focusing on crafting applications that allowed him to demonstrate multiple unique sides that formed a cohesive narrative.

After meeting Kyle and knowing his skills and interests, Anthony and his team selected a range of activities best suited to his interests and talents.

To select the most appropriate colleges for Kyle, Anthony had considered the possibility of acceptance as well as Kyle's willingness to participate in association activities within the colleges, and he decided that he would help Kyle apply to University of Chicago and Northeastern.

Kyle's impressive list of activities and academic strength won appreciation from admission officers from the two universities. And finally, Kyle chose to attend University of Chicago.
