Last time, we talked about how to write an approach email as well as how to schedule a personal visit when applying to a UK school. Today, we’re going to give you some heads-up on how to fill out the registration form and how to pay registration fee.
How to fill out the registration form?
You can download the registration form easily on the website of the school. Usually, the form has 6-7 pages containing all sorts of information to be filled out. Be sure that the information you provide in the form is complete and true. Read the requirements for the item before you start to fill in. There are so students who fail the registration due to incomplete information.

It is important to note that when you’re filling out the section reading “Is our school your first choice?”, make sure you reflect the true information. Some students may have more than one first-choice, which could have a negative effect on the application.
Because UK schools exchange information with each other. That means if the school you applies to knows you choose more than 1 school as the first choice, it creates an impression of being dishonest whilst honesty and integrity occupy an important place in British society. It might get you nowhere in the last.
Second, when filling out the contact information of the school, never leave the official email. It’s better to provide the contact of the school’s functional office, if any, or the contact of your referral. You may want to do so because the UK schools will write emails to the applicant’s school, therefore an effective email address should be provided if you don’t want any delay.
Tips for payment of registration fee
You may think paying registration fee is as much simple as transferring the right amount of money into the account provided by the school.
Well, something like that.
But there are certain things you need to pay attention to when transferring the registration fee. Mentioning your name and registration fee in the remarks column is necessary, otherwise the school would have no clue about where this money comes from. And remember the bank charges service fee for a transfer, so be sure to transfer 10-15 pounds more.
So, now with the registration form complete and fee transferred, is the registration complete?
The registration is complete only when you receives the confirmation letter or email from the school.
One thing to be pointed out is that a successful registration is just the beginning of the application process. What lies ahead is a long way full of challenges for you to deal with. If you want to know more, stay tuned with us.
